tBush Gaming spent Day 3 of the EWC Last Chance Qualifier playing from behind, and by the time the dust settled in France, the Barstool-backed Call of Duty squad was headed home in 3rd place instead of on to the Esports World Cup. The LCQ was always going to be unforgiving — 15 teams, one spot, no margin for error — and Bush found that out the hard way against Torn Esports in the Winners Final.
The morning slate had Bush entering as the last unbeaten team standing after The Pit EU dispatched BTD Esports 3-0 in the Losers Semifinal to bump BTD to 4th. That set up a Winners Final against Torn with a trip straight to the Grand Final on the line. It did not go well. Torn dominated the Den Hardpoint to open the series, and from there Bush never found a footing.
The broadcast overlay tracked the map count sliding to 0-3 as Torn closed out the sweep and celebrated on stage.
Torn swept it 3-0, closing with a 5-2 win on Scar Overload behind a 4-0 first half, and every Bush player finished the series with a K/D under 1.0 — Fear's.98 was the high mark. That's about as clean a beatdown as you can take in a best-of-5, and it meant an immediate turnaround into the Losers Final against The Pit EU with the season on the line.
Bush answered the bell early. F3AR dropped nearly 4.5k damage and went 30/29 to power a 250-201 win on Den Hardpoint, and the team looked like it had shaken off the Torn hangover entirely.

It didn't hold. The Pit EU leveled the series with a 6-3 win on Gridlock SnD, then took Scar Overload 7-1 after a second-half reset to go up 2-1 and put Bush in a win-or-go-home spot on Scar HP. They didn't get the two in a row they needed — The Pit EU closed it out 250-139 to end Bush's season at 3rd place, with no EWC bid and no Grand Final. Jersey Jerry summed up the mood succinctly: "Season over. A lot of changes next year."
Frustrating as the finish was, this was still the team's inaugural competitive season, and the resume they put together is legitimate: 8 tournament wins, 5 Challenger Cups, 2 Elite Playoff runs, a Major III title, and $132,000 earned across the year, according to a season recap tBush Gaming posted after the loss. A brand-new org going 3rd at an LCQ this stacked, after a Major win and a top-3 finish at Champs, is a real foundation — even if Sunday stung.
