Camp Barstool 2026 wrapped its finale on Thursday, and the whole thing came down to one relay race between the two camp-wide squads: Team Dirty Dew and Team Mountain Dew. Before the course even opened, there was already drama brewing — Nicky Smokes said team captains got a rule at a pre-race meeting that runners had to stay on the right side of the course, and according to him, nobody bothered passing that memo down the line.
That missing memo cost Team Mountain Dew. Their anchor leg ran off course, and the penalty got tacked right onto the clock.

Team Mountain Dew caps it off with a time of 17:21.7 And Nicky Smokes has now cost them 5 seconds for running off course… #CampBarstool @MountainDew #mountaindew_partner
17:21.7 with a penalty baked in left the door wide open, and Team Dirty Dew walked right through it. Their squad churned through the same obstacle-course-and-swim gauntlet and crossed with an unofficial time of 16:53.8 — nearly 28 seconds faster, penalty or no penalty.

The relay wasn't just an obstacle course, either — it had a hot dog leg mixed in, and that's where Camp Barstool got its funniest twist. Mintzy, who reportedly got traded onto Team Dirty Dew despite not being able to do much in the physical legs all week according to Ohio's Tate, turned into the eating specialist the team needed. On leg 6 of 14, the "Glizzy Gobble," he put down hot dogs with a time to beat of 17:26.7 sitting on the board behind him.

Incredible stuff from Mintzy here! #CampBarstool
Mintzy summed up his own day plainly afterward: he said he beat teammate Green Greg by 90 seconds in the eating leg, and Team Dirty Dew won the whole relay by 40 seconds. Green Greg, for what it's worth, has been the camp's new blood this year — he won Barstool's Missouri Idol contest to get hired onto the site covering Missouri sports and the Chiefs — and by the finale he'd become the punching bag of the week. Big Cat's closing tweet put it bluntly, thanking everyone for watching and taking one more shot at Greg for "always coming up short" and not being able to eat a hot dog.
It wasn't all relay, either. The finale also delivered a full-blown scuffle after Rico reportedly threw eggs at PFT, which turned into PFT wrestling him to the ground on camera in what got billed online as a disciplinary matter.

2+ minutes of PFT running over Rico (Rico threw 2 eggs at him btw) #CampBarstool
Camp Barstool has become an annual late-summer tradition for the site, splitting the roster into two teams for a week of field games, water challenges and eating contests before everyone scatters back to their regular shows right as football season kicks off. This year's edition ends with Team Dirty Dew as champions, Green Greg as the week's designated fall guy, and a relay decided by a missed instruction and a hot dog leg nobody saw coming.
