Internet Invitational 2026: $4 Million, Big Cedar Again And Everyone In The Field So Far

Dave Portnoy put the number out on May 30: $4 million, up from the $1 million the first one was played for, when the three winners split it $333,333 each. The event went back to Big Cedar Lodge in the Ozarks for the week of August 10.

It is played for a new trophy, renamed last November for Cody “Beef” Franke, who won the first one and died before it aired.

What isn’t out yet is most of the rest. There is no premiere date; the fan trackers expect the first episode late October or November, and 2025’s went up on October 28, about ten weeks after filming. The format hasn’t been announced either — last year’s halved a 48-player field every day, from two teams of 24 to a final between two threes — and about 64 players are expected this time, up from 48.

The field has come out the way it did last year, one invite post at a time, and nothing official has been released. From the champions, Brad Dalke has posted his; all three of last year’s runners-up, Paige Spiranac, Malosi Togisala and Frankie Borrelli, are back, and so are Riggs and Bob Does Sports, last year’s captains. Francis Ellis, the third of last year’s winners, hasn’t announced his.

The new names reach well past golf: UFC’s Justin Gaethje, Johnny Manziel, former NBA guard Jason Williams, Barstool’s Jersey Jerry, Dude Perfect’s Tyler Toney and the Nelk Boys’ Kyle Forgeard. Portnoy has also said he invited Caitlin Clark and Kai Trump, who tentatively accepted; neither has announced it, so neither is below. Everyone who has, with what they did in 2025:

Last year’s went to the 18th hole of the final, where Borrelli’s chip went in the water and Dalke, Ellis and Franke won it 1 up. The whole 2025 event is one article, and each of its six episodes has its own recap, from the draft and Luke Kwon’s missed tee time to the final.
