Surviving Barstool Season 5 Episode 2: A Company Divided
TLDR: The episode Barstool titled A Company Divided, and the one where the season's two best players showed what they were. Rat voted out the man who had just won them a challenge on his own, and Snake's council became the first tribal of the season where everything was said out loud on purpose.

Nick Turani carried Rat through the first challenge almost single-handedly, which is exactly what made him the name at their first council. His own plan — a split vote — was turned around and used on him: 3-2-1, with Hannah Montoya taking the stray.
Turani's post afterwards is the version of this the cast keeps giving: no complaint about the vote, just thanks for six and a half hours. He is the fourth player out, and one of six who never sit on the jury.

Watching this back, Glenny and Marty might as well call Rone “daddy” from now on 🤣🤣
Annika Christy needed either Marty Mush or Glenny Balls to come with her against Rone. Glenny went to Rone instead and told him on the way to the vote, and it went 3-2 the other way. Her own card for Rone is legible on the tape; Meek Phill said at the council itself that he was gunning for him.
Watching it back from outside the game, Annika's read on Glenny and Marty is the one the rest of the season keeps proving right.

Some insight. I’ve watched a decent amount of survivor in preparation for this show. I always think tribals are more interesting when the drama is said out loud. So that’s what I did. I wanted it to be juicy, so I said fuck it. And it was.
Rone's council was not a series of whispers, it was an argument conducted in front of everybody, and it worked. He has since said plainly that this was deliberate — he had watched enough Survivor to decide that tribals are more interesting when the drama is said out loud, so that is what he did.
It is also the episode where a rumour about an idol travels the length of the house in minutes, which is the most Barstool thing the season has produced: Nicky Smokes talking to Dana Beers and Turani about an idol, and the story arriving somewhere else entirely.
