Surviving Barstool Season 5 Episode 2: A Company Divided
Both losing tribes spiraled into paranoia and power plays after a razor-thin challenge loss, with alliances fracturing on the Snake side and idol rumors poisoning every conversation on Rat.
A giant skee-ball game splits the house
The immunity challenge, called Down the Shoot, asked each tribe to roll balls down an adjustable ramp and break 5 targets, with every member required to smash at least one. Nick Turani sat out for the Rat tribe to preserve his eligibility for the next challenge, a decision that left his teammates shorthanded in a contest that rewarded power and coordination.
Roach tribe connected on all 5 targets first and took home the immunity stool. The Snake and Rat tribes finished within a second of each other, but close only counts in horseshoes — both were sent to tribal council, meaning 2 players would be going home by night's end.
Impostor idols, failed missions, and a torn-up half

The advantage hunt exploded in every direction. Dana Beers found a mission called the Impostor — a fake idol he must hand to another player, and if that player plays it and gets eliminated, Dana earns a real hidden immunity idol. He told Nick Turani about it, and word traveled fast: Nicky Smokes was soon told Dana "has something," and the rumor mill spun from there. Meanwhile Hannah Montoya discovered a Finders Keepers mission requiring her to locate 3 idol pieces during the challenge itself, but the pieces were too spread out and the mission failed.
Tate spent the night tearing through the office and found half of a hidden immunity idol that came with a "better half" mission — he needed to locate whoever held the matching piece. That turned out to be John Feitelberg, who found the other half independently. But Feitelberg wanted no part of the mission, calling it not his style, and ripped up both his half and the instructions as a declaration of loyalty to his side of the game.
Rone gets ambushed at tribal council

On the Snake side, Meek Phill quietly campaigned to blindside Rone before the merge, arguing Rone had too many alliances and would be impossible to beat later. He recruited Marty Mush and Glenny Balls for a pitch meeting behind closed doors, and both seemed to waver. Rone, sensing something was off, pressed Glenny and Marty for information — and learned just in time that his name was in play. He held a hidden immunity idol in his back pocket but desperately wanted to avoid burning it this early.
At tribal council, Rone forced the issue into the open, announcing that he had just learned Meek Phill was coming for him. Meek Phill owned it immediately, declaring that Rone was the most likely person in the tribe to win the whole game. Glenny Balls squirmed as Rone traced the leak back to him, and the confrontation had the entire panel sweating. On the Rat side, Tate quietly built a 4-person voting bloc aimed at Nick Turani while Nick Turani's camp pushed to eliminate Hannah Montoya, setting up a tribal where both sides believed they had the numbers.

Went at Rone a round early and needed either Marty or Glenny to come with her. Glenny went to Rone instead, and told him on the way to the vote.

Won his tribe the first challenge almost single-handedly, which is what got him voted out of the second. His own split-vote plan was turned around and used on him.
