Surviving Barstool Season 5 Episode 4: The Game Everyone Loves To Hate
A random tribe swap reshuffled the game from 3 tribes down to 2, and a chaotic round of Attack Defend sent 6 players scrambling to figure out who to send home.
The merge nobody saw coming

With 12 players remaining, the 3 tribes gathered to discover they were being reshuffled into 2. Each player drew a random bag revealing their new tribe: Pigeon or Worm. The Pigeon Tribe landed Marty Mush, Glenny Balls, Tate, Dana Beers, Nicky Smokes, and Dani Jackel. The Worm Tribe got Rone, Pat Kelly, Dante, Tommy Smokes, Brandon Walker, and John Feitelberg.
The draw was a gift for some and a nightmare for others. Dana Beers and Marty Mush, already tight allies, ended up together again. Rone joined the Worm Tribe as the clear outsider, but the rest of his new squad saw it as adding firepower to an already dominant group. From here on out, anyone eliminated would sit on the jury, raising the stakes on every vote.
Attack Defend lives up to its reputation
The real story of this episode is how @Glenny_balls shirt was able to stay in tact
The challenge had players stationed on raised platforms passing balls down a line to a shooter, while simultaneously swatting away the opposing team's passes. John Feitelberg was dialed in as the Worm Tribe's shooter, and Marty Mush matched him shot for shot on the Pigeon side. At halftime, Worm led 5-3, but Marty stormed back to tie it 6-6 after a sequence of penalty shots that spiraled into chaos. A disputed call on Glenny Balls for stepping off his platform sent the Pigeon Tribe into a meltdown, with players screaming at the referee inches from his face.
The real difference was volume of shots. John Feitelberg took roughly 20 attempts while Marty Mush got only 9, and he needed 10 just to reach the winning score. Brandon Walker neutralized Glenny Balls on the upper level, choking off the Pigeon passing lanes. Worm Tribe won 10-6, and Rone celebrated his first victory of the entire game.

Facing tribal council, Dana Beers and Marty Mush targeted Dani Jackel as the bigger threat, wanting to keep Glenny Balls around as a shield. Dani Jackel pushed back hard, telling Tate and Nicky Smokes that splitting up the Dana-Marty pair was the move. Both sides worked Tate as the swing vote, and Glenny Balls complicated everything by telling each faction a different story about who he was voting for.
Glenny Balls leaned into his reputation as the lovable guy who just wanted to watch basketball and go to Florida, but in confessional he made clear it was all strategy. He watched a movie alone in the gambling cave, drank openly, and let everyone underestimate him. Whether the act would hold up at tribal council remained to be seen.

The first vote after the tribe swap and the first name on the jury. Dana Beers and Marty Mush chose her over Glenny Balls on the reasoning Dana gave in confessional — she is the better player of the two, and the weaker one is worth more to them alive. She spent the afternoon building the four that would have split the pair up instead, got Glenny to name which of them he wanted written down, and he reported the conversation back to them instead of casting the vote.
