Surviving Barstool Season 5 Episode 5: One Fall Changes The Game
Marty Mush faked an injury mid-challenge to secretly earn a hidden immunity idol, Pigeon tribe shut out Worm 4-0 in Beam Ball, and Dante went home after spending the scramble watching basketball instead of campaigning.
Marty fakes an injury, earns an idol

Glenny Balls found a mission card called "The Faker" that offered a hidden immunity idol to anyone who could fake an injury severe enough to stop a challenge for 10 minutes. He brought it to Marty Mush, who accepted without hesitation and hatched a plan: Dana Beers would stand next to him on the balance beam, and when Marty fell, Dana's weight would land on his ankle, giving him a believable story for the medic.
The challenge, dubbed Beam Ball, required 4 tribe members to stand on balance beams, catch balls launched by a slingshot, and shoot them into a moving hoop. When Glenny fired a pass Marty's way, Marty tumbled off the beam and pulled Dana down on top of him, then sold the ankle injury so convincingly that a full medical stoppage followed. Only Dana, Glenny, Tommy Smokes, and Rone knew the truth. Close to 10 minutes later, Marty rose to a standing ovation, climbed back on the beam, and swished his first shot. Glenny was pinpoint on the slingshot all day, and Pigeon tribe won 4-0 to claim immunity. Marty walked away with the idol in his pocket and a fake limp he would have to maintain for the rest of the game.
Rone's frantic scramble backfires, then works
For everyone saying I played badly in this episode of Surviving Barstool; I went to a new tribe, flipped everyone to a nearly unanimous vote, kept my idol and stayed in the game. Maybe you wouldn’t have done it but my plan worked perfectly.
Rone entered the Worm tribe as the odd man out after the swap and immediately started poking around, asking Pat Kelly and John Feitelberg whether he was on the bottom. They told him it was between him and Dante, which sent Rone into overdrive. He confronted Dante directly, asking if Dante would vote him out, and the exchange quickly spiraled — Dante denied everything, told Rone not to bring "loser stink" into their winning culture, and reported the conversation back to the group. Pat, Feitelberg, and Brandon Walker all flagged Rone's behavior as frantic and chaotic, with multiple people calling him bad at the game.
After the Beam Ball loss, the tribe debated whether to target Rone for his antics or stick with the pre-existing plan to vote Dante. Rone ultimately talked his way off the block: Pat and Feitelberg held to the original plan, and Dante sealed his own fate by spending the scramble period watching the Cavs game on TV rather than making his case. Dante was voted out 3-1, becoming the 2nd member of the jury.

Worm's first council of the season, and it landed on the outsider rather than the target. The tribe spent the afternoon set on Rone — Pat and Feits both said so on camera, for the antics and the lying — and Rone spent it talking them off it, with the argument that he was the one doing the work while Dante sat on the couch watching the Cavs game. It was true, and it was enough. Dante is the second name on the jury, and Jeff offered the room a last chance to play an advantage before the read; nobody moved, Rone's idol included.
