The Yak Survives Glenny, Mintzy, and Jelloman in One Friday

Friday's Yak had it all: a near-arson, a phantom co-host, and a man in an orange shirt standing on a desk feeding Jell-O shots to the cast.

Some Fridays on The Yak are chill. June 19th was not one of those Fridays. Before the show even started, the crew was already dealing with the fallout from the previous night, when Glenny Balls — in classic Glenny fashion — came this close to lighting Dante on fire. Dante posted the video himself, captioning it 'Thanks @glennyballs,' which is the most passive-aggressive thank-you note in Barstool history. The clip is dark, blurry, and features a bright flare of something that very much should not be happening indoors near another person's face.

Dante's own post — shared on the Yak — showing the moment Glenny nearly torched him, captioned with a deeply sarcastic thank-you.

That would have been enough chaos for any normal Friday. But Mintzy had other plans — specifically, no plans at all. After reportedly telling the crew he'd be in to help, Tommy Mintz pulled a full no-call-no-show, leaving the hosts to fill the desk without him. The show went on, as it always does, but the Mintzy absence hung over the episode like a cloud. The Yak even posted a pointed 'Mintzy is not doing himself any favors' while the cameras were rolling, which is the kind of public shaming that usually comes with receipts.

Into this perfectly chaotic Friday stepped Jelloman Philly, and honestly, the timing could not have been better. The man — who runs an Instagram account dedicated to the bit — climbed on top of a desk and personally lowered a green Jell-O shot into someone's mouth, then did the same for another cast member in front of the hat wall. The Yak called him a legend, which is a title earned when you are literally dispensing shots from an elevated surface in the middle of a podcast taping.

The Jello Man experience did not stop at the studio desk. Later in the day, he was spotted being pushed across a Barstool basketball court on a branded 'Jello Man' cart by a woman on a one-wheel, under the 'GET CHARGED UP' banner, in what can only be described as a logistics situation. This is the content. This is what The Yak, presented by Stella Blue Coffee, delivers on a Friday afternoon when half the roster ghosts and the other half nearly commits accidental arson the night before. Nobody's complaining.
