Big Cat brings back Stella Blue Coffee Golden Mug Nov. 3-6

Big Cat announced it Tuesday morning with a game-show-style promo video, because a normal ad wouldn't have been enough.

Golden Mug is back!! Buy anything from t.co/GlOYw26PBA 11/3-11/6 for a chance to win some awesome prizes. Buy some coffee and help save some dogs.

Here's how it works. Buy anything from Stella Blue between 11/3 and 11/6 and you're in. You don't have to buy coffee. The video shows Lola Blankets and a hair-tool set on the prize pedestal, and the store's own page says only to shop through Friday for a chance at big prizes. Don't expect a full rules sheet from a guy in a turtleneck holding a gold mug.

The dog part is real. Stella Blue is named after Big Cat's rescue dog Stella, who came from PAWS Chicago. The company's about page, signed by Dan Katz himself, says it supports rescue groups including PAWS Chicago and Mutt Fund, and that it has raised more than $200,000 for homeless pets, which it says has meant homes for more than 1,000 animals.

The ready-to-drink cans have their own pledge too. Stella Blue says 100% of gross profits from RTD can sales go toward funding 1,000 pet adoptions, and the tracker on its site was at 101 of 1,000 when we checked. If you were already going to buy a 4-pack, this week is a good time to do it.

Big Cat isn't exactly being subtle about it. An hour after the promo went up, he posted his Week 8 NFL Computer Power Rankings and added another plug for Golden Mug at the bottom.

Expect a lot more of that before Friday. The window closes November 6, and with Big Cat running both the coffee company and a few Barstool shows, every Yak and Pardon My Take between now and then is likely to get a Golden Mug read. You can enter by buying a bag of coffee, and the money helps pay for dog adoptions.
