Mook joins Jersey Jerry and Rico Bosco on House Call

Thursday is House Call day, and this week the guest chair went to Mook. Jerry was happy with how it went before most people had pressed play.

For anyone new to it, House Call with Jerry and Terry is the weekly touchdown-scorer picks show from Jersey Jerry and Rico Bosco. Most weeks the picks are the excuse and the chop is the show. Mook fits that well. He's the ex-CPA turned standup comic out of Barstool's Chicago office, and he already runs the Telluride Bush Gaming CDL Challengers team with Jerry and Lil Sas, so he isn't some stranger they have to warm up. They can bust his balls from the first minute.

"You're a big year ago guy" is about as Jerry as an insult gets. The joke going around is that he keeps files on everybody in the building, and fans were quick to tag Dave and Keegs as the next people who should be nervous. The episode is called "Secrets Keep You Sick", so apparently nobody's old takes were off limits.

The other bit people are passing around has nothing to do with football. There's a field trip to Florida on the calendar, and Rico's point is simple: nobody is more excited about it than Jerry. The clip doesn't spell out the plans, but the fishing-pole and sun emojis on Rico's tweet tell you what kind of trip Jerry has in his head.

Rico went back to the episode a couple of hours later for one more shot, and he framed the House Call crew like a team that needs some discipline. It's a joke, not a real locker room, but it tells you how the 2 hosts and their guest were getting along by the end.

This is the House Call formula working the way it's supposed to: 2 guys talking in code for an hour, a guest who knows the code, and a few clips that get passed around the company by lunch. Watch for the Florida trip to keep coming up on next Thursday's episode. Jerry won't let it go, and Rico won't let him forget how excited he is.
