Rico Bosco gets the Bosco Files on Pick Em Week 9

TLDR: Barstool Pick Em Week 9 dropped Wednesday night, October 28, as Releasing The Bosco Files, and Rico Bosco answered by promising a raw dead fish or a severed horse head on a corner desk.
Dave Portnoy put the episode out himself a little after 7 p.m. ET, and the title told you who was on the menu this week.

Pick Em is the weekly college football picks show, and by now the picks are almost the side dish. The real product is the crew going after each other, and Rico Bosco has been the easiest target in the building for years. Most weeks somebody gets roasted. Week 9 went further and slapped his name right on the episode: Releasing The Bosco Files. That's not a bit that comes up for 30 seconds. That's the whole show being built around him.
Bosco did what Bosco does, which is take the bait and threaten revenge. He didn't do it quietly, either. He went full Godfather on camera, and nobody's reading it as anything but trash talk. It's mob-movie payback from a guy who knows his own episode just got turned into a dossier on him.

“There will be a raw dead fish or severed horse head on the corner desk behind me” -Rico Bosco
The best part is the line itself. Most people pick one: fish or horse head. Bosco left both on the table, like a man who hadn't settled on how bad the retaliation would get but needed everyone to know it's coming. Whoever sits at that corner desk now has a reason to check under the papers every morning for the next few weeks.
About 10 minutes after the episode went up, Bosco was on his own account plugging it like nothing had happened. Whatever got aired in the Files, he wasn't hiding from it. He was promoting it.
That's the deal with Bosco and this show. The more they pile on, the louder he gets, and the louder he gets, the more there is to put in next week's Files. The thing to watch now is whether the horse head shows up. Pick Em lives on these office feuds carrying over from week to week, and Bosco just publicly promised a payoff. If nothing lands on that corner desk before Week 10, his own crew will make sure the empty threat ends up in the next set of files.
