Brandon Walker's show gets 15 minutes with Lane Kiffin

TLDR: Brandon Walker's Week 9 College Football Show went live Wednesday night with a 15-minute Lane Kiffin sit-down, a fake-contender list and the season-ending surgery for Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor.
BFW posted the rundown a few hours before the show went live at 8:30 eastern on YouTube, and the headliner was right there at the bottom.

The Brandon Walker College Football Show starts live on YouTube at 8:30 eastern/730 central. My three 1-loss teams that look like contenders but aren’t Kamario out for season 15 minutes with Lane Kiffin. t.co/sQoK9wHHtV
Getting Kiffin is a big get, and it comes with some history. Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU, and Brandon hasn't gone easy on him. After Ole Miss beat LSU 32-24 on September 20, Brandon said he "didn't see Lane going in there and getting his pants pulled down by the quarterback that he left," meaning Trinidad Chambliss. He has also called Kiffin a top-5 coach in the country while saying he'd never want to be in a position where he has to trust him as a person. That's the guy who got 15 minutes on Wednesday night.
Megan went right after the booking itself, with the kind of fake gratitude you only aim at a coworker.
The Kamario Taylor segment was personal. Brandon is a Mississippi State guy, and the Bulldogs confirmed this week that their quarterback needs surgery on a turf toe injury and will miss the rest of the season. Taylor got hurt in the win over Missouri and tried to play through it against Alabama. He sat out the loss to LSU, where Kiffin's Tigers shut State out, then tried to come back against Oklahoma and left in the first half. Brandon had already broken the news on the Yak a day earlier.
“It's weird because my quarterback has a toe injury and he's actually... gonna miss the rest of the season.” – Brandon Walker
That's a gut punch for a Bulldogs team sitting at 4-3. Taylor had 17 touchdown passes and was the reason anybody in Starkville was having fun this fall. Parker Puckett takes over, with a trip to No. 11 Texas up next, and a bowl game is no longer a sure thing. So Brandon had to break down his own team's season falling apart in the same show where he hosted the coach whose LSU team shut them out.
Of course, the clip that went around afterward wasn't Kiffin or the injury news. It was food.
That's how this show works. One night it's a Hall of Fame-level SEC troll getting 15 minutes, the next it's a plate of pigs in a blanket held up to the camera, and people eat up both. What to watch: whether Kiffin said anything worth clipping before LSU's next SEC fight, and how long Brandon can keep calling State a contender with Puckett under center against Texas.
