Fasoli's full-court press to get Dave and Big Cat to his wedding

Weddings are usually a private affair. Not when you work at Barstool. Fasoli has apparently invited both Dave Portnoy and Big Cat to his wedding, and instead of just letting the RSVPs roll in quietly, he's using every minute of studio time to make his case directly to the two biggest names on the marquee.

Fasoli putting a full court press on Dave and Big Cat trying to get them to his wedding

The pitch isn't a one-off mention, either. It's become a full-blown campaign, with Fasoli reportedly angling for both guys to actually show up rather than just send their regrets. Given how much of The Yak's charm comes from the crew needling each other in real time, watching Fasoli lobby his bosses on camera is exactly the kind of storyline that writes itself.

Not everyone thinks Fasoli's motives are purely about a good party, though. Nicky Smokes floated a theory that cuts right to the heart of Fasoli's personality: that he'd genuinely rather have Dave or Dan physically in attendance than get a check from either of them as a gift.

I honestly think Fasoli would rather have either Dave or Dan attend his wedding than getting a fat check from both of them. He’s so VIVA.

That framing tracks with how Fasoli's presented himself around the office for years — less about the money, more about the moment. Whether Dave Portnoy or Big Cat actually clear their calendars remains to be seen, but Fasoli's made it clear he's not going to stop bringing it up on air until he gets an answer.

Given Barstool's history of turning personal milestones into content, don't be surprised if this invite saga keeps popping up on The Yak until the actual wedding day settles it one way or another.
