Even the Barstool accounts aren't hiding the record. Every post for this week's episode puts the 0-5 right next to his name, the same way you'd list an injury. The Sixers logo in the clip tells you a Philly-flavored sign is in play this week. Jerry wearing his Philly heart on his sleeve while 0-5 is the most Jerry thing possible, and somehow it's also the reason people keep watching.

He also can't escape DraftKings this fall. On top of The Signs, he's the guy doing the sponsor reads on Barstool Sports Advisors, which runs next to his picks every week.

That's what makes the 0-5 funny instead of sad. The Signs was never pitched as sharp handicapping. Jerry is reading tea leaves on camera with a promo code under him, and the bit works because he goes all in on whatever the universe sends him. A winless start doesn't kill the segment. It gives it a storyline.

So here's what to watch in Week 6: does the sign finally hit, or does he go 0-6 and keep trusting it anyway? If it ever does cash, expect him to take a victory lap like he just won a title. Until then, the record stays in the headline.
