Marty Mush strapped up against a top-5 NBA draft pick for the newest episode of 'Marty vs.,' and he says he still dropped 30.

Barstool's 'Marty vs.' series has made a habit out of throwing Marty Mush into the deep end against real athletes, and the latest matchup is arguably the toughest yet: Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel. This isn't some retired legend or a media personality with a jump shot from a rec league past. Knueppel was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Duke, where he shot 40.6% from three as a freshman and became one of the most efficient scorers in college basketball.

Can Marty Mush take down Charlotte Hornets' Kon Knueppel on the court? He's about to find out. @DKSports #DKPartner

Two men in a gym play one-on-one basketball, one in a blue long-sleeve 'WL Basketball' shirt and the other in a white v-neck Duke t-shirt with a cartoon graphic, dribbling and defending near the free-throw area.

The clip is a promo cut for the DraftKings-backed showdown rather than game footage, but it's enough to set the stage: an NBA lottery pick guarding a Barstool guy who's built a whole content series out of getting his shot tested by pros. Marty didn't wait for the full episode to drop before campaigning for himself, either.

Dropping in 30! Kon was the absolute man and was awesome to sit down with him. Make sure yo checkout the full video at 10am!

"Dropping in 30! Kon was the absolute man and was awesome to sit down with him," Marty posted ahead of the full release, teasing both the on-court number and the sit-down interview that came with it. Whether that 30 held up under actual NBA-level defense is the kind of thing you watch the episode to find out, but it's a fun number to throw out regardless of a rookie's real defensive engagement level in a content shoot.

Once the full video went live, Marty revealed he didn't run this one solo. Eddie Barstool tagged along for the sit-down and, according to Marty, brought some baggage with him onto the court.

New Marty vs @Kon2Knueppel is live!! @EddieBarstool joined me and he has had the yips since 7th grade and it showed t.co/WJ3YTh6SRz

"New Marty vs @Kon2Knueppel is live!! @EddieBarstool joined me and he has had the yips since 7th grade and it showed," Marty wrote, turning the episode into a two-man circus act against a guy who's shooting three-pointers for a living in the NBA now. Knueppel is still just 19 and only months removed from being drafted, so getting pulled into a Barstool bit this early in his rookie year says something about how quickly these crossover appearances have become part of the NBA's off-court content cycle.

'Marty vs.' has never been about Marty actually winning — it's about the mismatch and the personality clash that comes with it. Pairing an NBA lottery pick with a guy who openly admits his sidekick has had the yips since middle school is exactly the kind of chaos the series thrives on, and it's a safe bet this won't be the last time Barstool sends Marty up against a fresh NBA roster spot.
