Pardon My Take roasts LIV Golf's domain name list

TLDR: LIV Golf's Chapter 11 filings listed the web domains the league owns, including anti-LIV ones, and Pardon My Take read the list on air and couldn't stop laughing.
Bankruptcy paperwork is usually dull reading. LIV's asset schedule had a list of domain names in it, and the PMT guys went straight for it.

The list of domains LIV golf owns has been released and the names on it are incredible
The one that got the biggest reaction on the show was golfmoneygrab.com. That's what an anti-LIV troll would have typed into a registrar in 2022. Instead it's apparently sitting in LIV's own pile of assets. This is the league that spent years hearing it was a Saudi money grab, and somebody on its side clearly saw that coming and bought the insults before critics could.
That's how LIV explains it, anyway. A league source said it registered a broad range of domains as standard brand protection, so nobody else could use them against it. Plenty of big companies do this quietly. Plenty of big companies don't end up with that list printed in a federal court filing for everyone to read.
The show kept going past the first clip, and a second cut of the same bit had the hosts back at the desk, still laughing at the list.
The reason the list is public at all isn't funny. LIV filed for Chapter 11 on September 8 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey, listing $100 million to $500 million in assets against $500 million to $1 billion in liabilities. The players are creditors too: ESPN reported Jon Rahm is owed $7.5 million, Bryson DeChambeau $5.7 million and Dustin Johnson $5.5 million.
It gets better the deeper you read. The asset and liability schedule runs 292 pages and uses the word "undetermined" 808 times. It lists unpaid bills to Uber and to ASCAP, the music licensing group. It also shows Greg Norman getting a $5.8 million settlement plus a $3.6 million bonus. Next to all that, a league owning golfmoneygrab.com almost feels like a self-own.
What comes next: CEO Scott O'Neil says LIV wants to restart in 2027 with more player ownership, 75-player fields and Monday qualifiers. Whether those domains get sold off with everything else is up to the bankruptcy court. Either way, PMT got a great bit out of it.
