Pardon My Take's crew builds PMTown in Minecraft

TLDR: Pardon My Take's behind-the-scenes guys are building PMTown, a full Minecraft city with a railway and a Hollywood-style sign, and Zac toured it on PMTV this week.
Every content team ends up with a group Minecraft server sooner or later. The PMT crew went further and gave theirs a name, a sponsor and a guided tour.
That's PMTown. According to the Pardon My Take account, the city is still being built by the show's BTS guys, the people who usually stay behind the camera while Big Cat and PFT Commenter talk. Zac is the one giving the tour, and it went out as part of PMTV with Twisted Tea's name on it. The builds are the kind of thing you only make when you've got too much time and too many inside jokes. There's a rail line running along the lake, a lamp post, a pixel-art painting on a brick wall and that sign up on the hill, because every city that takes itself seriously needs one.

PMTV is the right home for this. The series is Pardon My Take's behind-the-scenes show, and its best stuff has always been about the people around the mics: punishments, bets, and the dumb projects that come out of an office full of guys who'd rather be doing anything else. A Minecraft city run by the crew fits right in. It also gives the BTS guys a chance to be the bit for once instead of the people setting it up.
Not everybody is sold on how PMTown actually works, though. It took Memes about an hour to find the catch.
It's a fair complaint, and anyone who's played on a friend's server knows it. If the world only opens when the graphics guys are online, PMTown keeps their hours. Nobody else can drop by at 2am to put up a building or quietly blow up someone else's. For now the town belongs to whoever is holding the keys, and that's the graphics team.
That's the thing to watch. If PMTown keeps showing up on PMTV, you'd think the server eventually has to open up to more of the building. Or the graphics guys stay in charge and everyone else has to ask them for a slot. Either way, the BTS crew has a city now, and judging by the snowman mural, they're going to keep filling it with inside jokes.
