Internet Invitational 2025 Episode 3: The Stakes Are Raised!
TLDR: Riggs's team took the Day 2 morning 4-2 at Buffalo Ridge, and two of its pairs turned down Dave Portnoy's money to keep their points: Sara Winter and Chaz Bowker passed on replaying the 9th for $56,000, and George Bryan and The Jet on a $100,000 replay that would have made it 3-3 if they lost.
The 24 left voted again. Riggs kept the captaincy, and Frankie Borrelli got the other, with a birthday cake. Riggs took the second pick again, and Borrelli opened with Brad Dalke.

The new wrinkle was money: a $4,000 skin on every hole, carrying over on a halve. Borrelli's team agreed in its room to pool every skin and split it 12 ways, so nobody had to choose between a teammate and a putt. “Nobody knows that outside of this room.”
Roger Steele stuffed a 5-iron from 230 on the 1st for an eagle (“Brad who?”), and then Dalke and Franke birdied the next 5 holes and closed out Steele and Chandler Hallow. Francis Ellis stuck a tee shot on a par 3 worth 5 skins and holed it for $20,000 to help Micah Morris and him beat Riggs and Cole Lantz: “One for one on $20,000.”
Riggs's side won the other three. Andrew Austen and The Duke beat Lacey Snell and Josh Richards, who finished without a skin (“We're broke”). Gabby Golf Girl holed a $12,000 putt and she and Kyle Berkshire beat DOD King and Malosi Togisala.
Chaz Bowker, 4-foot-4 and introduced as the number one adaptive player in the world, holed a $12,000 putt, then another, while Portnoy followed Borrelli's group telling anyone who would listen that Borrelli would not make one. Borrelli finally did, from 30 feet, for 2 skins. Winter and Bowker won the match with 7 skins to 2, $28,000 to $8,000.
They were offered the 9th again for double, $56,000, with the point going the other way if they lost. “No. Let's take the point … It's more about for the team.”
George Bryan and The Jet tied the first 4 holes with Paige Spiranac and Peter Finch, which made the 5th worth $20,000, and The Jet holed it. They were dormie on the 9th and Finch's last putt missed: 4-2 to Riggs's team.

Buffalo Ridge · 9 holes · $4,000 skins
Portnoy went again: replay the hole until somebody wins, $100,000 on top of their $20,000, and if they lose, the point goes and the session is 3-3.
“I think we got to be team guys.”
The sideline could not believe it. “These guys must be all rich.” The Jet was not sure himself whether it had been an emotional decision or a rational one; the verdict that stuck was that it was a stupid decision, and one they had earned the right to make.
