Dave Portnoy vs. Mike Katic boils over in Week 7

TLDR: On Week 7 of the Barstool College Football Show, Dave Portnoy demanded an apology from everyone who said ex-players like Mike Katic know football better than him, and Katic fired right back.
This is round 2. Dave opened it with a victory lap, cutting together last week's segments and demanding the apology he thinks he's owed.
I want an apology from everyone last week who said ex players like Katic understand football better than me just because they played t.co/U4daFr6hA6
Here's how it started. Katic, who played at Indiana, tried to tell his coworkers that Memorial Stadium in Lincoln is still a tough place to play. They waved him off, and a lot of fans online thought the guy who had actually put on pads got disrespected. Dave didn't back down. He called ex-players "grunts" and said that for all anyone knows, Katic is a "brain-dead dummy," according to Yahoo Sports. Dave's tweet treats something since then as proof he was right, but he doesn't say what it was, so we won't guess.
Katic's comeback is basically that Dave is arguing about the wrong thing. He never said he's better at talking football on a podcast. He said playing it is a different animal, and he posted his own clip from the show to say it again in all caps.
The episode went all in on it. It was billed as "Who knows football better: fans or players?", and the first real test is UCLA. The Bruins are 5-0 after upsetting Oregon 17-15 at Autzen. They forced 7 turnovers in that game and won there for the first time since 2004. Now they host Wisconsin at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, and the fans' side smells a letdown spot.

The picks graphic tells you how lopsided the room is. Kayce, Dave and Big Cat are all on Wisconsin +2.5. Brandon is the only one laying the 2.5 with UCLA at DraftKings, and the total is 42.5 for a 7:30 ET kickoff. The show's own spin is that Katic knows his X's and O's, but Dave and Big Cat know a letdown spot when they see one. Saturday night decides who's right.
Week 7 didn't go great for Katic everywhere, either. The Missouri at Ole Miss preview, with Ole Miss -6.5 and a 53.5 total, got its own "Oh no Katic" clip. It ends with a facepalm at the desk.
Oh no Katic!
None of this is a real feud. It's the best running bit the show has right now, and every Saturday is another piece of evidence. If Wisconsin covers in Pasadena, Dave asks for another apology. If UCLA keeps rolling on its momentum, Katic gets to ask for one himself, and he's earned it.
