Gambling Cave parlay cashes a 3rd time, Jerry hits $15K

TLDR: The Barstool Gambling Cave's Either OR TD parlay cashed on DraftKings for the 3rd time this season Sunday when Hank's Rams leg came in, and Jerry then hit $15,000 on Kevin Coleman Jr.

Steven Cheah has been talking up this parlay for weeks, because the Cave's TD ticket has turned into the most-tailed bet in the building.

“I am very excited about this Sunday in particular because the gambling cave is going for three straight.” – Steven Cheah

The format is simple and kind of brilliant. Everyone in the room gets a leg, and each leg is 2 players, so you only need 1 of them to find the end zone. That's also why Cheah won't touch a questionable guy. If a player sits, the leg turns into a single-player prop and the whole point of the bet is gone. On Sunday the ticket went out, the crew filed into the Chicago basement, and the Week 8 sweat started at 1pm ET.

The early window could not have gone much better. Jaylen Warren and Tony Pollard came in fast, and then Justin Jefferson went up over a Lions defender in the end zone at Ford Field to put Minnesota up 7-3 early in the 2nd quarter. That was the Amon-Ra St. Brown OR Jefferson leg, and the room went up with it.

The 1pm games kept paying. Bucky Irving got in. Bhayshul Tuten got in. Josh Allen scored in a Bills game that ended 36-10 over Baltimore, and Derrick Henry punched one in on a day he became just the 3rd player in NFL history with 130 career rushing TDs. By the middle of the afternoon the ticket was 7 for 7, and the only thing left was the late window.

So it came down to Hank and the Rams. Kyren Williams or Blake Corum, vs. the Chargers at SoFi, and Hank was saying it was on him 'again,' so this wasn't his first time closing one. Williams made them wait. He finally took a 1-yard run in with 19 seconds left in the first half, his 6th rushing TD of the season, and that's all it took. Corum added a 23-yarder in the 3rd quarter, which by then was only good for the fantasy guys.

There's something especially Barstool about a 10-person parlay landing on 1 guy's Rams running backs. Nobody in that room gets to say they carried it. Everybody did their part, and the last guy to cash gets mobbed for it.

That's 3 cashes on the season, all on DraftKings, all paid partner posts. The crew wasn't shy about it, either: Big Cat thanked everybody who rode along, and Cheah posted '3x this season' in all caps. Take that with the usual sponsored-post grain of salt, but a Sunday longshot that keeps hitting is still a heck of a run.

Then Jerry showed up for the nightcap. He was on a Kevin Coleman Jr. next-TD bet in Dolphins vs. Patriots, and the rookie got there late. Malik Willis hit Coleman for a 35-yard score with about 2 minutes left, Coleman's only touchdown on a 3-catch, 46-yard day, and it cut New England's lead to 24-19.

JERRY HITS FOR $15,000 ON KEVIN COLEMAN JR NEXT TD WHAT A HIT

Miami still lost, which Jerry could not have cared less about. So the Cave goes into Week 9 with the parlay hitting at a rate that will have half the internet tailing it. Next Sunday's ticket has a lot to live up to. Just don't hand anyone a questionable guy.
