Rone makes dreams come true on Son of a Boy Dad #445
TLDR: Son of a Boy Dad #445, titled Weekend at Harrods, dropped October 15 with Rone presenting a small box on air and the guys debating whether British royals should marry Americans.
The episode title tells you where the guys' heads were this week. The first clip out of it was Rone holding up a box like it had a crown inside.
Rone making dreams come true today!
The clip doesn't show what was in the box or who it was for, so we won't guess. The fans clipping it called it Rone making dreams come true, which is about as much as you need to know. If a show calls its episode Weekend at Harrods, you can assume the London department store had something to do with it.
Some background for anyone new: Son of a Boy Dad is the Barstool show where Lil Sas, who recently dropped out of college, leans on his producer Rone to help him build a healthy worldview and figure out what it means to be a man. Francis rounds out the couch, and for weeks now the running bit has been his wallet. Back on #440, Sas was already joking about what happens when Francis lands in a foreign country with money to spend.
“Now would be a good time to do it before Francis gets there and completely stimulates the economy.” – Sas
So a Harrods-themed episode with this group was never going to be a quiet one. The other big topic was even more British. The guys took up a question nobody asked them: should British royalty be allowed to marry a woman from America?
Should British royalty be allowed to marry a woman from America?
You don't have to squint to see the Harry and Meghan subtext. It's the kind of argument this show runs on: 3 guys, one dumb premise, and no chance anyone changes their mind. Francis apparently did not win the room on at least one point, and the fans let him hear it.
Francis just doesn’t get it
Another clip from the same set is just a host losing it in a flannel, with no context and no need for any. #445 is up now wherever you get Son of a Boy Dad. If you only have time for a few minutes, start with the box, then go find out how the royals debate shook out.
