Telluride Bush beats Huke, Merc and Shotzzy in a 3v3
TLDR: Telluride Bush beat Huke, Merc and Shotzzy 2-0 in a 3v3 on a ConnorMook_ stream, then took down M8's Academy 6-3 in a 4v4 search and destroy minutes later.
Sunday night was supposed to be a 4v4 night. The account even had to swear to it.
That "I promise" tells you how these streams usually go: lineups change, matches fall apart, and nobody is sure what is happening until the lobby loads. Then Bush got a second match right after the first one, and the account started yelling in all caps. A little before 7pm ET it was a 3v3 against Huke, Merc and Shotzzy. Those are not random lobby names. Huke and Shotzzy played for OpTic Texas, the team that lost the 2026 CDL Championship grand final 5-2 to FaZe Vegas in July. Shotzzy also took MVP at the Esports World Cup on Black Ops 7.
A 2-0. Let's be honest about what it was: a 3v3 played on a stream, not a CDL match with a trophy on the line, and pros in a show match are not grinding like it's Champs. Still, you only get to say you beat those names once, and Bush gets to say it. For an org Barstool runs on the Challengers circuit, a clean sweep of players like that is the kind of clip that keeps getting reposted for months.
The night kept going. Four minutes after the 3v3 result went up, Bush was back in a lobby, this time in a 4v4 search and destroy against M8's Academy, the development side of the Gentle Mates org.
6-3 in SnD, and the account celebrated with a BOMBA and a Jamaican flag. That makes it 2 wins over recognisable names in under half an hour. Next on the list was Huntsmen, which the account announced just after 8pm ET.
No result has been posted for Huntsmen or for the team the account calls a rumored second Gentle Mates academy roster, so for now those are just the next lobbies on the schedule. Either way, the point stands. A few months ago a stream match against pros was the whole story. Now Bush has 2 of them in one night and the account is already calling the next one. If the Huntsmen and Gentle Mates results go the same way, people around Challengers are going to start taking the tree emoji seriously.
