Telluride Bush wins the 3v3 Elite Kickoff

It started as a ConnorMook_ stream billed as bush ball and MW4, and Bush was in matches back to back almost immediately. The first one with names on it came just before 6pm CT.

Bush just 2-0’d Huke, Merc, & Shottzy 👀🌳

Those aren't randoms. Huke, Merc and Shottzy are 3 names anybody who has watched pro Call of Duty knows, and Bush swept them. The org didn't stop to celebrate. It went straight into a 4v4 search and destroy against M8's Academy a few minutes later.

Bush beat M8’s Academy 6-3, BOMBA 🇯🇲

The 4v4 side kept going from there. Bush lined up against Huntsmen, then against what the account called a rumored second Gentle Mates academy team, and went up 1-0 in that one with oJohnnyGian, in the account's words, beaming all day. For a team that grinds through Call of Duty Challengers Elite, a Sunday of matches against recognisable names is real reps, not just content.

The biggest test of the night was Dashy, Byron and Blaz in the 3v3 bracket, and it went the distance. With the series on the line, ExceedLbX found an ace to force a map 3.

ACE from @ExceedLbX to send us to map 3 vs. Byron, Dashy, & Blazt 🌳

Bush won the decider, and that put them in 3v3 Grands against Abe, TJ and Spart, with a best-of-1 4v4 Grands against Beans and Co. on deck too. Bush took the first map in the 3v3 final, and about 12 minutes later the account posted the clip that ended it, with Skil going big to seal the title.

SKIL GOES BIG AND WE TRIM THE GUSH TO WIN THE 3V3 ELITE KICKOFF 🌳

So that's a tournament title on a night where Bush went through Huke, Merc and Shottzy, Byron, Dashy and Blaz, and Abe, TJ and Spart in a row. It's a kickoff event, not a major, but it's the kind of run that gets people asking if this roster is for real. Next up is whether ExceedLbX, Skil and oJohnnyGian can carry this form into the Challengers matches that actually count.
